Terms and Conditions - Please read these carefully

While the vast majority of transactions are hassle-free and there are no problems, I have to state my terms and conditions for the few who seem unable or unwilling to co-operate.

Advertising, even on E-Bay costs money, Money that I owe, the second an auction ends, so you can see why sellers get a little 'irked' when buyers have problems completing the deal after the auction ends, therefore:-

1. Please ASK questions BEFORE placing a bid, I will try to answer any questions within 24hrs and often much sooner, i dont mind answering questions, i would much rather answer a question and put a buyer off than have a problem later.
2. If you are unsure of any aspect of the auction, the product, or me then please, DO NOT BID
3. Finally if you are unlikely to be able to complete the transaction for any reason, please DO NOT BID.

Ok, heres the other bits:-

Payment Terms:
Payment is to be made within 7 days of the auction ending unless by prior arrangement.
You can pay my by NOCHEX (www.nochex.co.uk) if you want to pay me from your bank account, PAYPAL (www.paypal.co.uk) if you want to use a credit card or electronic transfer or cash if you collect the item.
I dont like any other payment method, and if you insist on sending me a cheque, I will hold your goods for 10 working days to make sure it clears.

Winning Bidders :
If payment is not received for winning bids within 7 days of the end of the auction, the item will be re listed and the winning bidder will be treated as a NON-PAYING BIDDER, reported to E-Bay and negative feedback will be given, in this world of high speed communications, next day deliveries and e-mail, taking more than 7 days to pay for anything is 'having a laugh'.
Also please be aware that under your terms and conditions for membership of E-bay, you agreed that placing a bid on an auction is a legally binding action.

Shipping :
Items are shipped after payment has cleared into my account.
I always obtain proof of posting.
Items are sent via Royal Mail or a well known carrier and at the buyers own risk,
I will not be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
Insured postage is available if requested and paid for by the buyer and the buyer is to pursue any claim against the courier, however I will provide all information and any assistance i can in correcting delivery problems.

Note: by E-bays own definition, quote: 'Sellers may charge reasonable shipping and handling fee to the final price of their item, providing that this fee is disclosed up front in the listing. A shipping and handling fee can cover the seller's reasonable costs for mailing, packaging and handling the item'

I ALWAYS display the full shipping cost on my adverts, it WILL include packaging and handling costs that are reasonable for the item, if you dont think my shipping costs are reasonable please DONT BID on my item.

I do not refund postage costs if there is a problem, read my reviews, this is not a scam or an attempt to profit in any way, but I spend a large amount of my time making sure transactions are correct and items work, problems are very rare.

Item Condition :
I sell items that are Brand New or Ex-display, ex-catalogue and 'seconds', every advert says CLEARLY which of these the item is.
Items marked 'ex-display', 'ex-catalogue' or 'slight second', may have slight cosmetic damage, the packaging may be damaged or missing and the manuals documentation may be photo-copies etc however the item will work as described and all such information will be IN THE ADVERT before you bid.
Items marked 'tested' will have been removed from packaging, tested to the best of my ability and re-packaged.
Items marked 'Boxed New' will not have been opened.

Please check your item within 3 days of reciept, i change stock regularly and probably will not have a replacement item after this time, in any case, if your first contact with me is later than three days after reciept i will not (and this is final) discuss any form of refund or return, this is to protect myself from those out there that think they can use an item, break it, then return it when they get bored, once again, if you want that sort of returns policy, go pay full price in the high street.

Warranty :
I am a very reasonable person, talk to me if you have a problem with the goods and we will sort it out, however, due to the price I sell at No warranty is implied or given (this is final).
All items are sold as seen and are fully working unless stated otherwise because I take a LOT of time checking the items I sell.
I dont accept returns UNLESS we have discussed it, I have had time to rectify ALL problems and I have agreed to take it back (if you want cast iron returns, go pay full price in the high street and DONT BID).

IF I agree a refund please be fully aware that I do not refund postage costs at all, as I have previously mentioned I charge only reasonable postage costs and I do not profit from them, neither do I expect to lose from them.

Internation / Overseas bidders please read this:
Auction currency is UK Pounds only, no other currency is acceptable unless the winning bidder is prepared to pay the conversion charges.
Shipping costs quoted are for the UK only, International bidders should contact me for a shipping cost BEFORE bidding, be aware that i dont like shipping abroad and will avoid it if i can.

NOTE: By E-bays own stated rules, quote 'Buyers pay additional costs that may apply such as duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees.'

I do not know your local laws etc, these are your responsibility, if you dont know them or are not sure please dont bid on my items.

Finally:

I really want to provide quality goods and service at great prices and I spend a lot of time checking my goods, and I aim to sell them at a price that I would be happy buying at.

I want you to return and buy again and I want you to know that you have got a great deal buying from me on e-bay rather than the high street.

My terms and conditions are not extraordinary or unreasonable, my adverts are honest and clear and I have no way of forcing you to bid.

I appreciate your bids, I enjoy "e-bay'ing" and the best part is completing a transaction where I and my buyer are happy.

If you are in any doubt about any of the above terms
DO NOT BID
On Any of my items.
